Step 1: Upload your manuscript
Tell us about your book so we can match you with beta readers who are keen to find manuscripts exactly like yours.
Looking for specific feedback? Premium members can customize feedback questions and leave extra instructions for their beta readers.
Step 2: Fill up your tip jar
Readers have limited time to finish reading and submit feedback. Make sure you get plenty of quality feedback by offering tips to readers.
By default, tips are released when readers complete a manuscript, rate it, and meet the minimum feedback requirements. Premium members can customize the requirements to release tip funds.
Step 3: Review feedback and rate readers
Readers are tipped because we expect their feedback to be detailed and useful. When you rate a beta reader’s feedback, we use those scores to identify our top-ranked readers.
Didn’t get the feedback you expected from someone who earned a tip? We’ll follow up to make sure you get the information you need.
Step 4: View your manuscript analytics
Data shows you what comments can’t. For example, wouldn’t you want to know if most readers never picked up again after the first chapter, or if a high percentage of people marked your plot twist as confusing?
You get detailed data on your manuscript’s performance, even if your readers don’t finish or submit comments.
